Adding pauses helps make your video clearer and easier to follow. Here are two simple ways to add pauses in your script:
Go to the Outline screen. Under the Visuals panel on the right side, click the three dots (⋯) next to the section where you want to add a pause.
From the dropdown menu, click Add Pause.
A tag such as [pause 1s] will appear in your script for that section.
If you want a longer or shorter pause, simply change the number — for example:
[pause 2s]for a 2-second pause[pause 0.5s]for a half-second pause
You can add pauses anywhere in your script. Simply copy and paste
[pause 1s]where needed.
Tips
Use pauses to emphasize key points or make transitions sound more natural.
Avoid using too many pauses in short sections to maintain a smooth flow.
Review the generated audio to make sure timing sounds right before exporting.
