Adding pauses helps make your video clearer and easier to follow. Here are two simple ways to add pauses in your script:

  1. Go to the Outline screen. Under the Visuals panel on the right side, click the three dots (⋯) next to the section where you want to add a pause.

  2. From the dropdown menu, click Add Pause.

  3. A tag such as [pause 1s] will appear in your script for that section.

  4. If you want a longer or shorter pause, simply change the number — for example:

    • [pause 2s] for a 2-second pause

    • [pause 0.5s] for a half-second pause

  5. You can add pauses anywhere in your script. Simply copy and paste [pause 1s] where needed.

Tips

  • Use pauses to emphasize key points or make transitions sound more natural.

  • Avoid using too many pauses in short sections to maintain a smooth flow.

  • Review the generated audio to make sure timing sounds right before exporting.
