A new Text-to-Sound Effects tool lets users generate custom sound effects, atmospheres, and short background tracks from text prompts.

Use it by navigating to the tools page and selecting the AI sound effect tool. Then type a description of the sound you need (e.g. “thunder rumble,” “city traffic ambiance,” “sci-fi whoosh”), generating multiple candidate clips, and downloading the one that fits best.

Where and how it can be used effectively:

  • Add ambience or background texture (rain, wind, crowd murmur) to make your videos feel more immersive

  • Use sound cues or transitions (swishes, beeps, risers) to punctuate section changes or emphasis

  • Generate custom sound effects for unique branding or narrative moments when stock SFX don’t quite match

  • Layer multiple AI-generated effects to build richer soundscape
