How to add AI sound effects

Generate short sound effects and ambient beds from text, then pick a clip and add it to your project.

Open the tools page and choose AI sound effect. Describe the sound you want (for example, thunder rumble, city traffic ambience, sci-fi whoosh). VideoGen returns several options—preview them and download the one that fits.

Where it helps

  • Ambience and texture (rain, wind, crowd murmur) to make scenes feel more immersive.

  • Transitions and punctuation (swishes, beeps, risers) for section changes or emphasis.

  • Custom SFX when stock libraries do not match your story or brand.

  • Layering multiple clips for a richer overall mix.
