How to create a video from an audio source

Start from an audio file—podcast, voice track, or music—and let VideoGen pair it with structure, visuals, and finishing polish.

Written by Anton Koenig

Steps

  1. Add your audio

On the overview step, add your file under Featured Media.

  2. Transcribe speech when needed

Spoken audio can be turned into text so you can work in sections.

  3. Choose a layout

Pick templates such as full-screen visuals, split screen, or titles to match your pacing.

  4. Add visuals

The agent can suggest b-roll, stock, or AI-generated images aligned with what is being said.

  5. Layer in branding and extras

Use featured media, avatars, or brand assets where you want more control.

  6. Add music and SFX

Optional background music or AI sound effects for energy and polish.

  7. Review in the editor

Adjust timing, visuals, or sections until everything lines up with the audio.

  8. Export

Choose format and resolution for YouTube, social, or presentations.
