How to adjust media size and position in your project

Resize and position images or video by dragging handles on the canvas. Corner drags keep aspect ratio; edge drags stretch one dimension.

Resize media

  1. Click the image or video on the canvas. A bounding box with handles appears.

  2. Move the pointer to a corner or edge until the resize cursor (double arrow) appears.

    • Corners: Drag diagonally to change width and height together and keep proportions.

    • Edges: Drag horizontally or vertically to stretch or compress along one axis.

  3. Release the mouse when the size looks right.

Tips

  • Keep aspect ratio: Resize from a corner, not an edge, if you want to avoid distortion.

  • Fine adjustments: Zoom in on the canvas while you drag for more control.

  • Undo: Press Undo or use Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z to revert a change.
