How to Adjust the AI Voice Speed

Control how fast or slow AI voiceover plays by changing voice speed so pacing matches your script and sounds natural.

  1. In the Outline or Editor, click the AI Voice you have selected.

  2. Click the Settings icon next to the Avatar button.

  3. Under Voice speed, enter your preferred speed value.

For best quality, use a speed between 0.7 and 1.2.

What you can adjust

  • Playback speed
    Change how quickly the voice speaks by increasing or decreasing the speed value.

  • Per-section control
    Each script section can have its own speed so you can match pacing to the content.

Tips for best results

  • Slower speeds improve clarity for dense or technical content.

  • Faster speeds shorten runtime but can sound less natural.

  • Stay within the recommended range for the most natural sound.
