When to use

Use this when you want to:

  • Soften cuts between sections

  • Add smooth transitions or motion between scenes

  • Improve pacing and visual flow

  • Give your video a more polished and professional feel

Add Transitions Between Sections

Transitions help create smooth movement between sections of your video.

Steps

  1. Open your project.

  2. In the timeline, look for the small transition control between two sections.

  3. If no transition is applied, the control will appear gray.

  4. Click the transition control.

  5. Choose a transition style, such as Fade, Rise, Pan, Pop, or Wipe.

  6. Once selected, the control will turn purple to indicate the transition is active.

The transition will be applied between those two sections.

Animate Individual Assets

You can also add animations to specific elements in your video, such as images or text.

Steps

  1. Click on an asset in your canvas or timeline.

  2. On the right-side panel, find the Animation settings.

  3. Choose an Enter animation to control how the asset appears.

  4. Choose an Exit animation to control how the asset leaves the screen.

These animations apply only to the selected asset, not the entire section.

Tips

  • Use transitions between sections for smoother scene changes

  • Use asset animations to highlight specific elements

  • Combine both for a more dynamic and engaging video
