VideoGen accepts common video, image, and audio formats. File size limits depend on your plan.

Video

Upload files with a video/* MIME type. Common formats include MP4, MOV, and WebM. Processing and playback depend on the codec used—standard codecs like H.264 work best.

Audio

Upload files with an audio/* MIME type. Common formats include MP3, WAV, and WebM audio.

Images

The following image formats are fully supported:

  • JPEG / JPG

  • PNG

  • WebP

  • GIF

  • SVG

HEIC/HEIF and TIFF files are automatically converted to JPEG during upload.

File size limits

  • Per-file limit: Depends on your plan (ranges from 100 MB to 5 GB).

  • Images: JPEG, PNG, and WebP files over 10 MB are compressed automatically. GIF and SVG files must be under 10 MB.

  • Minimum file size: Files must be at least 40 bytes.

Tips

  • Use H.264 codec for video to ensure smooth playback and processing.

  • Compress large files before uploading to speed up the process.

  • Check your plan's storage limits on the Usage page.
