What is Remove Pauses & Filler Words?

Remove Pauses & Filler Words cleans up transcribed audio across your project by removing unnecessary long pauses, filler words, or both. You can also customize which filler words should be removed before applying the changes.

This Remix action is available on Pro.

How it works

  1. Open your project in the Project Editor.

  2. Click Remix in the left sidebar.

  3. Select Remove Pauses & Filler Words.

  4. Choose whether to remove:

    • Long pauses

    • Filler words

    • Both

  5. (Optional) Edit the list of filler words to remove.

  6. Click Clean Up.

VideoGen will automatically update all eligible transcribed audio in your project.
