When to use

Use this when you want to:

  • Improve the quality of generated images.

  • Make visuals match your script more closely.

  • Control style, mood, or composition.

  • Fix results that don’t match what you had in mind.

Steps

  1. Be specific about the subject.

    • Instead of: “A cat”

    • Try: “A ginger cat sitting on a wooden fence at sunset.”

  2. Add style details.

    • Examples: cinematic, realistic, watercolor, 3D render, anime style

  3. Describe the environment or setting.

    • Include background, time of day, weather, or atmosphere.

  4. Specify camera perspective or composition if it matters.

    • Examples: close-up, wide shot, top-down view, portrait orientation

  5. Include lighting and mood.

    • Examples: soft natural light, dramatic shadows, warm golden tones

  6. Keep the prompt clear, and avoid conflicting instructions.

After you update your prompt, regenerate the image to see the new result.

Example

Basic prompt:

A futuristic city

Improved prompt:

A futuristic neon-lit city at night, cyberpunk style, wide-angle shot, reflective wet streets, cinematic lighting, ultra-detailed
