When to use

Use this when you want to:

  • Improve the quality of generated images

  • Make visuals match your script more closely

  • Control style, mood, or composition

  • Fix results that don’t match your expectations

Steps

  1. Be specific about the subject.

    • Instead of: “A cat”

    • Try: “A ginger cat sitting on a wooden fence at sunset.”

  2. Add style details.

    • Examples: cinematic, realistic, watercolor, 3D render, anime style

  3. Describe the environment or setting.

    • Include background, time of day, weather, or atmosphere.

  4. Specify camera perspective or composition if needed.

    • Examples: close-up, wide shot, top-down view, portrait orientation

  5. Include lighting and mood.

    • Examples: soft natural light, dramatic shadows, warm golden tones

  6. Keep prompts clear and avoid conflicting instructions.

After updating your prompt, regenerate the image to see improved results.

Example

Basic prompt:

A futuristic city

Improved prompt:

A futuristic neon-lit city at night, cyberpunk style, wide-angle shot, reflective wet streets, cinematic lighting, ultra-detailed
