Remix overview

Apply bulk updates across your project from the Remix tab in the editor.

Written by Anton Koenig

Remix lets you update many parts of a project at once. Open the Remix tab in the left sidebar of the editor to change narration, visuals, pacing, format, and more without editing each clip by hand.

When to use

Use Remix when you want to:

  • Refresh an entire video after the first draft is done

  • Animate still images, restyle visuals, or shuffle stock footage across sections

  • Change the AI narrator, clean up a transcript, or translate the project

  • Add transitions, stagger layered animations, generate music, or change the format

How it works

  1. Open your project in the editor.

  2. Select Remix in the left sidebar.

  3. Choose an action card. Cards that cannot run yet stay visible but dimmed, with a short note about what the project still needs.

  4. Confirm the settings in the flow that opens, then let Remix apply the update across matching content.

If another Remix action is already running on the same content, that card stays in place and waits until the work finishes.

Available Remix actions

  • Change AI narrator — Swap the voice on AI-narrated sections

  • Remove pauses & filler words — Clean up spoken pacing (Pro)

  • Animate images to videos — Turn still images into short motion clips (Pro)

  • Restyle all images — Regenerate visuals with a new look

  • Shuffle stock visuals — Replace stock footage with new matches (Pro)

  • Add transitions — Smooth the cuts between sections or visuals

  • Stagger animations — Offset motion across layered visuals in a section

  • Translate project — Convert script, voiceover, and related text to another language

  • Generate music — Add AI background music

  • Upscale all assets — Increase resolution on eligible media (Pro)

  • Change format — Switch aspect ratio for different platforms

  • Restart workflow — Return to the project’s original workflow setup when one is available

Tips

  • Finish a first draft, then use Remix for broad polish instead of one-off edits.

  • Dimmed cards tell you what to add first, such as images, narration, or more sections.

  • Some actions require Pro. Those cards show a Pro badge.

  • If you need an action that is not listed, use Suggest an action at the bottom of the Remix tab.
