How to create a video using the Slides to Video workflow

The Slides to Video workflow transforms your PDF or PowerPoint presentation into a narrated video. Upload your presentation, add narration manually or with AI assistance, then generate your video.

When to use

Use this workflow when you want to:

  • Convert a PDF or PowerPoint into a video

  • Add AI-generated or custom narration to presentation slides

  • Turn presentations into engaging video content

  • Save time creating narrated presentations


Steps

  1. From the Home page, click + New Project.

  2. Select Slides to Video.

  3. Upload your presentation by:

    • Dragging and dropping your PDF or PowerPoint file, or

    • Clicking Browse to select a document from your device.

  4. Once your presentation has been uploaded, add narration by:

    • Typing your narration manually for each slide, or

    • Chatting with the AI Assistant in the left panel to generate narration suggestions or help refine your script.

  5. You can also customize how the AI Assistant responds by clicking Standard (the default response quality) and selecting your preferred response quality.

  6. When the AI Assistant provides a suggestion, choose:

    • Accept to insert it into your narration.

    • Decline to continue refining your request.

  7. Review your narration and make any necessary edits.

  8. Click Generate Video.

Once generation is complete, you'll be taken to the Preview screen where you can view and review your generated video.


Configuration options

Before generating your video, you can also customize:

  • AI Voiceover — Choose the narrator for your presentation.

  • Avatar — Add an AI avatar to present your slides.

  • Captions — Customize the appearance of subtitles.

  • Screen Ratio — Select the aspect ratio for your video.

  • Post Production — Configure Background Music, Transitions, and a Watermark Logo.


After generation

From the Preview screen, you can:

  • Restart — Start over using the Slides to Video workflow.

  • Edit — Open the generated video in the Project Editor to make changes.

  • Share — Share your project or download/export your video.


Tips

  • Use the AI Assistant to generate or refine narration for individual slides or your entire presentation.

  • Review your narration before generating the video to ensure it aligns with your slides.

  • Higher AI response quality may produce more detailed narration suggestions.

  • Preview your video before sharing or exporting to verify the narration and slide timing.
