Workflows are the starting point for every video project. When you create a project, you'll choose a workflow based on what you're starting with and how much creative control you want.

What are workflows?

A workflow defines the inputs and process used to generate your video.

Current workflows include:

  • Script to video — Start with an idea or topic and generate a script, narration, and visuals.

  • Voiceover to video — Start with an existing narration or audio recording.

  • Upload — Bring in your own video, audio, or image files.

  • AI video editor — Start from a blank project with full manual control.

  • Record — Capture screen, camera, or audio directly in VideoGen.

  • Generate AI clip — Create short AI-generated clips from prompts or images.

Each workflow sets up your project differently, but all of them lead to the same editor, where you can refine and customize every detail.

Choosing a workflow

Choose a workflow based on what you already have and how you want to create your video.

  • If you're starting from scratch, begin with Script to video.

  • If you already have narration, choose Voiceover to video.

  • If you already have media files, choose Upload.

  • If you want full manual control, choose AI video editor.

  • If you want to capture something new, choose Record.

  • If you want to generate a short custom clip, choose Generate AI clip.

If you're unsure, start with Script to video—it's the fastest way to generate a complete video from scratch.
