How to style captions and add title text

Customize caption appearance and add on-screen titles from the editor.

Use the Captions tab to change subtitle styling. Use Insert when you want to add separate title or body text.

Style captions

  1. Open the project in the editor.

  2. Open Captions.

  3. Choose a preset or adjust the available font, color, size, position, background, and outline controls.

  4. Preview the result on several parts of the video.

Add title text

  1. Open Insert.

  2. Choose the text option that fits the design.

  3. Add the text, then adjust its layout and timing in the editor.

Tips

  • Use strong contrast between text and its background.

  • Keep on-screen text concise.

  • Check that captions do not cover important visual details.
