How to correct pronunciation

If your AI narrator mispronounces a name, brand, or unique term, you can manually correct it using the Pronunciation Replacements feature in the Project Editor.

  1. In the Project Editor, click the current AI Voice narrator to open its settings.

  2. Click the Adjust button.

  3. Select Pronunciation replacements from the options.

  4. In the Word or phrase box, enter the word you want to correct.

  5. In the Custom pronunciation box, type how you’d like it to be pronounced.

  6. (Optional) Turn on Auto-generate pronunciation replacements to let AI automatically detect and improve pronunciations for numbers, symbols, dates, and more.

    • Experimental: This feature uses AI to auto-correct common pronunciation issues without manual setup.

  7. Once done, go back to the Script and click Regenerate Voiceover to apply the corrected pronunciation.

Tips

  • Use simple phonetic spelling when entering a custom pronunciation (e.g., “Vi-dee-oh-gen” for “VideoGen”).

  • You can add multiple pronunciation corrections for different words in the same project.

  • Re-generate the voiceover after saving changes to hear the corrected pronunciation.
