Sections divide your video into independent parts, making it easier to structure, organize, and edit your video.
By breaking your video into sections, you can work on one part at a time without accidentally shifting or affecting other parts of your video. Each section acts as its own contained segment with its own layers and assets.
You can select, edit, and create sections in the Timeline and Script.
When to use sections
For narrative videos, sections can represent chapters or content blocks—such as an intro, main content, and outro—helping you organize the flow of your story.
For layout-based videos, like animated slideshows or text-based ads, each section can contain a distinct layout. This makes it easy to reuse structures by copying, pasting, or duplicating sections, allowing for faster and more consistent video creation.
