The right sidebar shows the settings and properties for whatever you have selected in the VideoGen editor.
What the right sidebar is
The right sidebar is the editor's contextual settings area. It updates based on your current selection so you can make changes without leaving the editor.
If nothing is selected, the sidebar prompts you to select an asset or section to edit its properties.
How it works
The controls in the right sidebar depend on what you select.
Selecting a section shows a section preview, section actions, and the layers in that section.
Selecting an asset opens asset-specific controls for editing how that item looks and behaves.
Selecting a layer shows that layer and the assets inside it.
Selecting multiple assets can show shared controls for the current selection.
What you can manage there
Depending on what you select, the right sidebar can include controls for typography, animation, color, background, playback, volume, captions, appearance, and transform settings.
For sections, it can also surface actions such as translating, duplicating, inserting, moving, or deleting sections.
Important behavior
The right sidebar changes as your selection changes, so it works best as a contextual editing area rather than a fixed menu.
On smaller screens, the full right sidebar is not shown in the compact mobile editor layout.
For spatial adjustments, use the canvas. For inserting or replacing media, see Asset tools overview.
