AI Avatars use D-ID technology to generate realistic talking-head videos. When you select an avatar, it speaks your script text with natural lip movements and expressions.
Avatars work alongside your chosen AI voice—the voice controls how the script sounds, while the avatar provides the visual face.

How to add an avatar
Select a section with voiceover in the timeline.
Open the voice settings in the right panel.
Click the avatar selector next to the voice.
Browse the avatar gallery and select a presenter.
Generate your video—the avatar will speak your script.
Avatar and voice pairing
Voice and avatar are separate choices. Each voice has a default avatar that matches well, but you can mix any voice with any avatar.
The avatar list sorts to show matching options first based on the voice you selected.
Requirements
AI Avatars require a Business plan. If you see an upgrade prompt when selecting an avatar, you need to upgrade to access this feature.
