Generate AI clip creates short (5–10 second) video clips using AI. Describe what you want to see, and the AI generates motion video from your prompt. You can also upload an image and animate it.
When to use
Use this workflow when you want to:
Create custom AI-generated video footage
Generate clips that don't exist in stock libraries
Turn a static image into a short animated video
Add unique, creative visuals to your project
How it works
Click New video and select Generate AI clip.
You'll enter the editor with the AI Video Clip window open.
Enter a text prompt describing what you want the clip to show.
Optionally enable Audio Integration for synchronized sound.
Click Generate Video Clip.
To generate from an image, switch to the Image to Video tab and upload your image before entering a motion prompt. You can use images from the AI Playground for this.
Options
Text to video — Describe a scene and AI generates the clip
Image to video — Upload an image and describe how it should move (see How to convert an AI image into a video)
Audio Integration — Add synchronized, AI-generated sound
Tips
Keep prompts short and specific—one to two sentences works well.
Add style cues like "cinematic," "soft lighting," or "realistic."
Describe the motion clearly (e.g., "slow zoom in," "waves crashing").
Try small wording changes to explore variations.
