Teams subscriptions and billing

VideoGen uses seat-based billing for Teams. The team admin receives one invoice for all active members, and each member occupies a paid seat.

How team billing works

  • Billing is managed by the team admin or the person who created the team.

  • Team members are not billed individually. Instead, the team admin receives one invoice for the entire team.

  • Billing is based on the number of active seats. Each team member occupies one paid seat.

Pricing by plan

The total subscription cost depends on your plan and the number of active team members.

  • Pro: Total cost = Number of seats × Pro plan price

    • Example: 2 members = 2 × Pro price

  • Business: Total cost = Number of seats × Business plan price

    • Example: 2 members = 2 × Business price

Adding a new team member creates a new paid seat and is billed immediately.

At your next renewal, VideoGen automatically recalculates your subscription. If team members were added partway through the billing cycle, their renewal amount is prorated based on when they joined, so you only pay for the portion of the previous billing period they used. After that, all active seats are billed at the full subscription price for the new billing cycle.

Managing team seats

When managing your team, keep the following in mind:

  • Adding a new member creates a new paid seat.

  • Team members are not charged individually—the team admin pays for all seats.

  • Removing a member reduces the number of seats billed on your next renewal.

  • Review your team membership regularly to ensure you're only paying for seats that are still needed.

Important: If a team member with a Pro seat leaves the team or is removed, that seat cannot be transferred to another user. If a different user joins the team later, they will occupy a new seat and be billed accordingly.

Summary

VideoGen Teams are billed using a simple seat-based model: one team admin, one invoice, and one paid seat for each active team member. Managing your team regularly helps ensure your subscription reflects your current collaboration needs.
