Text assets let you add titles, subtitles, and captions directly into your video. They’re fully customizable so you can adjust the look, style, and placement to match your project.

Steps to add and edit text

  1. Click the Text tab:

On the left-hand toolbar, select the Text option.

  2. Choose your text type:

Click on the type of text you want (e.g., title, subtitle, or body text) and it will appear in the editor.

  3. Edit in the canvas:

Once the text appears, you can drag it into position or resize it directly in the editor.

  4. Customize with the right-side panel:

Use the panel to change font, size, color, alignment, position, and animation. You can also adjust advanced settings like opacity, corner radius, and entry/exit animations for more dynamic effects. We have other articles in explaining each of these configurations.

Best uses

  • Titles and headlines for opening or section breaks.

  • Subtitles and lower-thirds for context or speaker identification.

  • Highlighted text callouts to emphasize key points in tutorials, explainers, or marketing videos.
