VideoGen starts each new project with a workflow. The workflow determines what you provide first and how the video is built.
Create a project
Sign in to https://app.videogen.io.
On the Home page, you can either:
Type your request in the "What do you want to create?" field. The AI Assistant can help you choose the best workflow and get started based on your idea.
Click + New Project to browse and select a workflow manually. If you're unsure which one to use, see Workflows Overview.
Build your video
Follow the prompts for your selected workflow. Depending on the workflow, you may:
Generate or paste your own script.
Upload a presentation, media, voice recording, reference images, or other supporting files.
Chat with the AI Assistant to generate ideas, scripts, or other content.
Customize your project settings, such as:
AI Voiceover
Avatar
Visual Style
Screen Ratio
Captions
Post Production options
Review your content and settings.
Click Generate Video.
VideoGen will process your project and generate a video based on the selected workflow and your configured settings.
Review your video
Once generation is complete, you'll be taken to the Preview screen where you can review your video.
From there, you can:
Edit — Open the video in the Project Editor.
Restart — Start over using the current workflow.
Share — Share your project or download/export your video.
You can also provide feedback about your generated video using the Creative Assistant in the left panel.
