Option 1: Start with a new Workflow
Use this option to record audio before building your video.
Go to app.videogen.io.
Click New Video.
Select Record (Pro).
Choose Audio only to record your microphone audio without video.
Click the red Record button to begin.
Click the red button again to stop.
After recording, choose your next step:
Preview — Review your audio.
Insert — Add it to your project.
Restart — Record a new take.
Option 2: Add to an Existing Project
Use this option to add or replace voiceover inside an existing project.
Open your project in the Editor.
Click the Record tab in the left panel.
Click Start Recording.
Select Audio only.
Click the red Record button to begin.
Click the red button again to stop.
Then select:
Preview — Review your recording.
Insert — Add it to your timeline.
Restart — Re-record your audio.
Tips
Record in a quiet space.
Keep the mic 6–12 inches away.
Speak clearly and at a steady pace.
Run a short test before recording.
