Option 1: Start with a new Workflow
Go to app.videogen.io.
Click New Video.
Select Record (Pro) from the workflow list.
Choose your recording type:
Camera only – Capture your webcam.
Camera & Screen – Capture your webcam and screen together.
Click the red Record button to begin.
Click the red button again to stop.
Before adding your recording to the project, you can:
Preview – Review your take.
Insert – Add it directly to your timeline.
Restart – Record again if needed.
Option 2: Add to an Existing Project
Open your project in the Editor.
In the left panel, click Record.
Select Start Recording.
Choose your recording type:
Camera only – Capture your webcam.
Camera & Screen – Capture your webcam and screen together.
Click the red Record button to begin.
Click the red button again to stop.
After recording, you can:
Preview – Check your recording.
Insert – Place it into your project timeline.
Restart – Capture a new take.
Tips
Check your camera and mic: Confirm the correct devices are selected before you start.
Use good lighting: Face a light source to improve video quality.
Close extra apps: Prevent distractions and improve performance.
Do a quick test: Record a short clip to check audio and framing.
