Troubleshooting: Asset not showing in the preview

If something looks missing on the preview, work through these checks in order.

If a specific asset isn't appearing on the preview as expected, try the following:

1. Check if the asset is hidden behind another asset

If an asset is below another visual layer in the timeline, it may be covered by the asset above it and hard to see on the canvas.

Tip: Reorder the asset to the top layer so it appears above the others.

2. Check for animations or low opacity

If an asset has an animation (like a fade), it may not be fully visible at the current playhead position.

Tip: Move the playhead or play the preview to see whether the asset appears.
Tip: Check whether the asset’s opacity is set below 100%.

3. Check the current timing

The canvas only shows assets that are active at the current moment in the timeline.

Tip: Scrub the timeline to confirm the asset appears at a different time.

4. Check your connection or reload

If assets still aren’t appearing, it may be a loading issue.

Tip: Check your network connection.
Tip: Reload the page and try again.
