How to access and use them

  1. Select an asset on the timeline

    • Click the video clip, image, or blank placeholder you want to change.

  2. Open the Asset panel

    • The panel on the right shows editing options for the selected asset.

  3. Open Media tools via Replace or Insert

    • If the asset already has media, click Replace to open Media tools.

    • For blank assets, click Insert to open Media tools.

  4. Use the available Media tools:

    • Free stock videos: Add stock clips to your visuals.

    • Upload media: Add your own photos, videos, or audio.

    • Title screen: Add a customizable title for intros or transitions.

    • Generate image: Create images to support your story.

    • AI video clip (Business only) β€” Generate short AI clips (often around 5–10 seconds, depending on the prompt). VideoGen picks a suitable model for each task, balancing quality, speed, and efficiency. Optional audio integration adds synchronized sound when enabled.

    • Premium iStock videos (Business only): Browse and insert clips from Getty iStock.

    • Background color: Set or update the asset's background color.

  5. Preview your edits

    • Play the timeline to confirm everything looks right.

Tips

  • Preview in the timeline before you finalize changes.

  • Keep styles consistent with background colors and title treatments.

  • Use high-resolution uploads when possible to avoid softness after resizing.

  • Stock libraries are a fast way to add polished footage.
